The Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) own the copyright on the maps and the data provided here. They may be used and/or reproduced without further permission from the copyright owner provided that an acknowledgement to BGR & UNESCO is included in any type of publication. The details on how to cite each product are given in the data documentation attached to the data. WHYMAP requests reprints of publications or products and services resulting from the use of the maps and the respective data.
