Mapping and Maps within the framework of international cooperation
| As part of the TC, BGR supports foreign institutions in carrying out geological mapping and in building up geo-information systems. The main emphasis of the work is on training partners in recording, processing and analysing geo-scientific data. |
The results of the work carried out within the framework of technical cooperation projects are usually documented in the form of reports, maps and data. These documents or data are available at the BGR. As the documents are usually the property of the respective foreign project partner, they cannot be handed over to third parties without the partner's consent. If interested, the project documentation can be viewed at the BGR. Use of the material is only permitted with the written consent of the partner authority. Many results are also published in the library.
